I think you could probably teach a class on making a nice blog.  This is fantastic!  I want to say, your design is very impressing.  You certainly know how to make your blog more than just a rant about an issue.  You've made people connecting each other became possible.  Good for you, because not that many people know what they're doing.

Cute idea - never thought of it for a kids party. I live in Big Bear, CA where you can rent a real pirate ship for a private pirate party, usually reserved for adult parties!
